Over time, underground parking garages can get filthy. Vehicles bring in a lot of dirt such as mud, salt, sand, water, oils and other chemicals. These materials accumulate over time and create a very dirty environment, slippery surfaces and bad odours. However, with regular power washing, this accumulation of dirt and potential hazards can be prevented.
In addition to the floors, dirt accumulates on the overhead pipes and can cause corrosion.
Before the power wash process begins, we sweep the entire surface clean so that most of the salt and dirt don't get into the drains.
Sweeping can only pull up so much dirt. Power washing does move some dirt and oils into the drains which is unavoidable. Having drains flushed and basins cleaned after the wash is highly recommended.
