![]() Crack sealing begins with surveying the areas to be crack sealed. Once an area is deemed to be a good candidate for crack sealing, the cracks are then cleaned out and filled with a hot rubberized crack sealer.
For application, the sealer is heated in a kettle to a temperature of 185°C (365°F). Once the sealer is melted, it is then injected into the crack and a sealer shoe will squeegee any residual sealer with a neat two inch over-band.
The crack sealer then hardens almost instantly back into its rubber form. It is ready to drive on in 60 seconds
